Also locate the objective. Hey Sir Useless could you tell me what would be the best choice for IQ's Aug? Even though I have 403H I still don't know. I don't understand why the flash hider appears to have better recoil control, but if one was to actually playtest it, the graph would likley be proven false. Whether I am a moron or not, this still doesn't change the fact that the graphs are misleading and confusing as ♥♥♥♥ and still make literally zero sense. Still pretty sure the compensator is still the better option, as the recoil on that thing is crazy, and not even compensator and grip combined do much to help it, but any help is better than none. At least, that's what I assume you're refering to. The charts for all weapons should be ignored, as they make literally zero sense and are almost never accurate to the in-game weapon in any way, shape, or form. TL DR: Compensator is the better choice by default, while silencer and flash hider are better for defenders who are roaming. If you are a defender and you want to be a roamer and try to ambush your opponents, the silencer is your best option, as damage reduction means little if you can kill them before they even realised you were there.īut if you want to roam and ambush, yet you do not want to risk the damage reduction, the flash hider is the perfect midway option, as hiding bullet trails makes you difficult to pin down by the enemy if you have not already been spotted, while still maintaining your damage if you fail to get the ambush and are stuck in a pure firefight. The compensator is also the better attachment for attackers by default, as the enemy will typically already know where you are, meaning the other options aren't as beneficial. To actually answer the question, the compensator should be your default barrel attachment as hiding your muzzle flash is less helpful when you are in a firefight with a hostile when you both know exactly where the other is, while recoil reduction will help in such scenarios, especially if it means you get that crucial headshot. Obviously, this does not matter if you get the headshot. However, the damage reduction means you are disadvantaged when you fight an opponent one on one. This makes it the most ideal weapon for ambushing opponents, as since sound is key in this game, making your prescence hidden is a massive advantage. Let's not neglect the suppressor either, which silences your weapon and reduces (does not completley hide the trail like the flash hider does) your bullet trails at the cost of damage reduction. ![]() The flash hider works by hiding the muzzle flash of your weapon making it easier to physically see your target when you fire, but also hides the bullet trails that come out of your weapon, which will make it difficult for enemies to pin down your location if you manage to ambush them.
